Telemedicine integrates cutting edge computer communication and digital video conferencing to enable face to face consultations with physicians, patients and specialists separated by many miles. Payson Regional Medical Center is participating, with the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson, in the state's first rural telemedicine network.
